I bought this washing machine a month ago from a retail outlet (not from flipkart) . i am some one who would like to make an informed choice and buy the best. since i could not find a good online review, i am posting my experience for the prospective customers. Earlier i was using a 7kg whirlpool semi automatic machine. washing was good, but it was not good for the delicate/ expensive clothes. SO i wanted a fully automatic machine this time. capacity equal or more than 7Kgs plus it should be able to wash expensive clothes was my prime requirement. before buying i evaluated the front load and top load machines of LG,samsung, whirlpool, IFB, Bosch and siemens. top load washing machines were low in quality (built wise) they were a blind reject for me. in front load, i did not have good feedback on IFB so it was also a reject for me. LG and Bosch are dominating the front load. i was little sceptical about LG since i have always bought premium brands, however , when compared both LG and BOSCH 8kg machines *simultaneously* LG drum size was much smaller than the BOSCH also the quality of drum was inferior as compared to the BOSCH drum. I some how could not convince my self to evaluate LG further. 1)Size - we are three adults in the family, i opted for the 8kg machine- however NO wash cycle washes beyond 5kg load!. delicate wash cycle will only wash 2kgs of clothes per cycle. so if you think 8kg will be too big for you, think again!!! 2)quality of wash- it is quite good. my family wear expensive branded clothes. my whirlpool washing machine was very abrasive with the collars of zodiac shirts!!! however , bosch is doing a satisfactory delicate washing 3) 1200RPM : we opted for the maximum rpm, top model- to be very honest, if you will wash your clothes with 1200 RPM setting , your clothes will come out very dry but very wrinkled, hard to iron wrinkles! so even for delhi monsoons , i am using 800rpm mostly! for delicate clothes, i am using 600rpm. clothes need more drying at 600rpm, but it is gentle on delicate clothes. 8KG bosch machine is also available at 1000RPM and is cheaper than 1200RPM model! i could have saved some money here. 4) WATER SUPPLY FUNDA: we all know front load needs proper water supply (good quantity + high pressure) before purchasing bosch , customer care exec told us if you are able to fill up 1LIT bottle in 6-7 secs, it means you have adequate water supply. we found our water supply satisfactory and it was passing the 1Lit test with good score HOWEVER after purchasing, upon installation this funda was rejected by the installation team. they even said warranty will lapse if you will get the machine fixed!! we had to do bit of arm twisting of the service team. finally a senior technician came for installation, he found water was adequate, he removed the sensors to prevent false alarm, he also advised us to install a single point pressure pump to increase the water pressure for better wash. so please check your water supply before buying, once you have bought the product you don't want a face any service issues. *call the marketing team, get a water supply clearance before you buy BOSCH* they will walk on their knees to sell their product but once you have bought the washing machine and if your water pressure is found inadequate , service team will keep you under its thumb. please note our washing machine is installed on the second floor and over head water tank is on the third floor. most companies fail to deliver bonafide service, its better to be safe than sorry in service. As a precaution, i have also bought an extended warranty for Rs. 4999/-. this is a limited period offer, granted shortly after the purchase. you never know unth (camel) kis side karwat lega !! 4stars rating is just for the preliminary performance. 2 stars for the installation service. hope you will find my feedback useful.

Just used for a few cycles as yet but a quiet machine and cleaning well.

Hi Guys, I just bought this machine, still packed got delivery today morning, I will definitely write a reviews after a week's time. But did a lot of research before buying this particular brand and model, Considered Siemens, Bosch, Panasonic and LG and then zeroed in on Bosch, So wish me luck so I be able to provide you guys with a Positive Review :) ''Amen'' at the moment I can only tell you about the good looks of this machine, I bought the white color and it looks Gorgeous when the Digital panel illuminates on start and the Music/Sound when you switch it on or when it plays a Jingle like music after every wash program that is very Soothing. I got this product on an exchange offer and the delivery as usual from flipkart was excellent and smooth. The installation was done on the third day by the company technician. Having recently received this machine cannot comment much but till date the Washing machine runs very smoothly. Cannot hear any sound, need to go near the machine to check whether its really running or not. Wife really loved it.
