User Reviews for Canon PowerShot A3400 IS Point & Shoot Camera

I bought this camera going by raving reviews on Flipkart and am regretting it. It is a very bad camera. Pictures lack sharpness. This camera has also got very low marks in all professional reviews abroad (Google it).nnIt seems the guys raving about this camera on Flipkart have never used a digital camera before and cannot compare its quality with any other. Its pictures are blurred and the video is jarring. A curse on Canon for launching shoddy products in the market without adequate testing.nnI have learnt a lesson now never to go by Flipkart reviews but only trust professional reviews posted by many websites like PC Mag and CNet. I have wasted my money -- my five year old Canon 570 IS of just 7.2 megapixels takes much better quality photos and videos than this garbage of a camera.

Flipkart deserves special mention for its Delivery speed, ordered on Saturday evening and got on Monday Morning.nnComing to camera :-nPros :-nnLargest Aperture at this Budget f/2.8 , useful for Low light shots.nImage stabilization(IS), can even stabilize hand shakes at 5X optical zoom.n5X optical Zoom with Lithium ion battery, you won't find this combo at this price in a 16MP camera anywhere.nTouch Screen (Good Quality ) useful for many things like focusing on a spot.nCan run CHDK , check on google what it does, but it makes your camera like a DSLR.nYou get a carry case/ 4GB Sandisk class SDHC card with it.nnCons :-nnScreen has Average quality, but is acceptable for this price.nHad to get a Screen guard to protect the Touchscreen, screen is too soft otherwise, but i am sure every screen is like this which has Touch.

ordered this camera in flipkart even when the price was 6990, higher than other sites due to the previous best services..(had bought nearly 50k worth products here)..but even after 5days product has not been shipped (only packed thereby disabling cancel icon) ....my fault...seller is not ws retail.....so cancelled it after calling to cust care and bought in a****n for just 6650(with 4gb class 6 card and pouch) from chrom*r****l....nnregarding the product its a product with rich feautures under budget....only touch in A series and also with the program mode to change the setings manually( but not throughout)...comes with optical image stabilisation...nt digital one...lcd screen is larger and rich but the photos may nt appear as bright in system( when compared with the lcd screen only otherwise awesome clarity pictures) beating my previous nikon camera...macro and vivid feautures are sharp and rich in qualitynnthe cons are the non zoom availability in video mode...have to fix zoom before taking video and also low light photos are nt good in auto mode...have to change slow shutter settings to get bright images...which is way better than low light mode.....best budget camera with awesome features ...ll surely recommend ..now even price is increased to 7270...nearly 600 benefit...ll buy good camera case..may be from flipkart...

Nice camera with touch screen facility.... the picture quality is awesome as always provided by Canon....it is the BEST among its competitors.....someone looking for a camera at lower price range should definitely give it a try.....u will love it....not regret it....and the service from FLIPCART is undoubtedly superb!!!!!
