Met Expectations

First things first. One really needs to be a first-mover when trying such pieces of technology, which let's face it is not going to be universally well received. I chose to be one of the risk takers in that limited sense after hours and hours of checking out YouTube videos and sifting through the sparse reviews here. Finally the form (weight) being it's big USP notwithstanding, someone had pointed out that a productivity beast (relative terms) in the form of the Windows 10 Pro which itself costs Rs. 15000/49900 (30% odd) comes preloaded and that should be significant contributor the the buying decision. After having traversed the journey of being sceptical to certain about this I gave it a try. Imagine that the $550 US pricetag also weighed heavily since most of us invariably have a relative who may soon travel to India and help get hands on it. I received the product in good time and in completely falling in love with it, I overlooked the most important aspect - the computer specifications. The product that I received was a Windows 10 Home and Students edition. I duly pointed this out to Flipkart. They did take cognisance of it but over a stretched out correspondence. Fair enough but the resolution they had in mind was not coinciding with mine. I wanted them to come good on the specifications of an OS version they had promised (in form of the listing). Instead they was to give me my money back and close the ticket and I guess see my back as soon as they can. On learning that they would not give an upgraded OS product key to make good on their offer, in the least I too relented. The best case resolution by me would have been that they give me a brand new product with a Windows 10 Pro version. Instead I have returned the product and have my money back. Now you may notice the specifications having changed in the listing (making it a Windows 10 Home version) for a whopping Rs. 49990/- It seems the former case was because of lack of coordination between whom generated the specs (Lenovo) and who lists it for purchase (obviously Flipkart). Having experienced the product a little bit before the final return I contend the following. I am still willing to buy it for Rs. 49990 - 7499 (adjusted for the OS version) and I should be fine. That's why the three stars too (for the product). For the giant that Flipkart has become and for not valuing my business perhaps they should not be in business!

Misleading information by seller !!

The Yoga Book is a great device. Hands down its the best. My concern is the wrong information given by the seller of its warranty. It is 1 year limited to Depot or Carry In services which is NOT On Site as mentioned on flipkart. This is not right and needs correction. I need to be reverted on the same.

Worthless

Product is not of good quality commensurating the price of the product. Product konked off within a day after delivery and wouldn't start at all. On top of this no refund available. Ended up with a defunct product.

Not Great at Half Lakhs Rupee

For US $750 One gets: No USB C charge port, Slow emmc storage (as opposed to UFS 2.0), Intel Atom instead of Core M. The Only Nice feature seems to be its Full HD touch display and that Back lit Touch keyboard!!

Expected a better product

Should be priced around 38k ($550). Does not hold type C charging port. When is Android version coming to India?
