Good laptop, good brand good configuration at good price. 7 years back I bought Inspiron 1545 compared to that build quality plastic is bad. Touch pad getting tuk tuk plastic sound. Don't know about durability but performance is good from last 2 days. Uninstalling Ubuntu and keeping windows 7 is like hell. If you have genuine windows it may be easy. Graphics softwares not installed, getting error. Getting battery for 2-3 hours.
Review after 10 days of use: I received this Dell laptop with all features mentioned in the description.But it has CD/DVD drive which is not mentioned. It comes with pre installed windows 10 home edition and office 365.you need to activate office within the time period using Microsoft account.it has i5 8th Gen,8gb ddr4 ram,2gb ddr5 dedicated Radeon graphics. Processor speed is 1.60GHZ 1.80GHZ. fingerprint sensor is good.Display is not good while playing videos,and viewing angles also bad. Speakers average.processor speed looks like slow but handles multiple tasks easily.McAfee comes with 458 days subscription.webcam is not hd. Battery backup in normal browsing around 5 hours. overall ratings out of 5 processor : 4 Display : 2.5 Graphics : 4 Design : 4 Battery : 4.5
Warranty documents was missing with the product.Flipkart's response was too disappointing and unacceptable which made me to raise refund request. But only replacement option is available for this product.Can someone confirm if anyone of you received the product with warranty docs??
1st time I'm using Ubuntu operating system... N believe me it's really gr8... Laptop is also value for money, n working smoothly
Received this product on 19, May 2017. It comes with Intel Core i5-7200U processor and 8GB DDR4 RAM. (Note that it is not DDR3 RAM) No fingerprint scanner with this model. Nowhere it mentioned in specification also. But the photos reflect the availability of Fingerprint scanner. I request seller to change the photos accordingly. Drivers not available for Windows 8. Hence it supports only Windows 7 and Windows 10 as mentioned in Dell website. Yet to see other performances. I received the product which was manufactured on April 2017.
