Not worth the hype or your money.

Pros:nLooks Good.nPremium feel.nnCons:nHeavily overpriced.nBad quality or lets say not upto the price.nNot at all value for money.nPathetic customer support.nnI bought one alienware for all its show and configuration and it is giving one or other issue since the day it arrived.nNot even a single day it worked properly.nDell keeps sending a technician to fix it and it wont fix.nWhat is the use of such a costly machine if it would break down in middle of presentations?nnWhen asked for replacement of product they would refuse for one reason or another.nnMy take:nnIf you are going to invest 1 lakh+ in a laptop. Thenr customize a desktop. nnBe aware and save your money.

It's a good product

You CANNOT compare pricing with US/Canada market. Think about the transport cost. You'd need to fly to Canada, purchase the laptop, stay in a hotel, and fly back. Add this cost to the cost of the laptop in Canada, your overall cost will be twice of what Flipkart is offering you.nnAlienware IS EXPENSIVE. If you want cheap, find a cheap brand, maybe a pavilion, or a chromebook. It's stupid to expect cheap alienware. It's like expecting a Macbook for 20 thousand. Never gonna happen.nnThe configuration is stunning. Except for an SSD, this laptop has way more raw processing power compared to even the most expensive macbook out there.nnDell's service is questionable, but in my experience they're still much better than HP. They will at least replace parts if not replace the whole notebook- with HP, they will just send a tech to your house, and this tech won't do nothing, he will reinstall drivers and go.

WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY YOU SPEND

Here i have read reviews from people saying its a hype or not worth money and trust me these are the people who have just seen pictures of alienware. I personally own an Alienware M17 R3. YES, it sure is expensive but worth every bit. I am into animation field as well as gaming... and the raw power given out by this laptop can outdo many desktop.nMy point is buying this laptop is a good choice when you need to work frequently and travel. I agree you can get a better customized desktop in that range. BUT.. you wouldn't want to carry around a huge CPU wherever you go would you? nif you want a cheaper performance based laptop Asus ROG is the next optionnBut comparing a laptop to a desktop is absolute bullshit.
