While the writing is fresh and offers a lot of binge-worthy content for those who love a classic police procedural, it is rather confused in its approach. It tries to be a serious drama series in some sequences, and balances it off with some humour in the other. Honestly, shows like this are better off having a single genre, which works best for audiences who love linear plots. That said, it does a good job in showing the complexities that these officials face on a daily basis. While it may be regarded as a trashy and far-from-reality show, it is definitely a good one for the weekend, with some tasty popcorn.
