MPower is a documentary series that focuses on the iconic women of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Each episode is dedicated to a group of characters from a particular property and aims to tell their stories and highlight the importance of their representation in the MCU. While the documentary includes some interesting insights from the actresses, it largely fails to deliver anything meaningful about the women behind the MCU stars. The women discuss their characters and how they empower women, but they don't address any actual issues with the characters. Additionally, the series includes several male voices, which is ironic in every sense. Overall, MPower comes off as forced activism meant to show women empowerment, but it fails in doing so. It is not even fan service as we see MCU characters in their normal form, something which no Marvel fan really loves.
