To promote the film, Brittany Snow started a campaign with her charity Love is Louder called: "When you take 96 minutes to make a difference." Brittany asked her followers to use 96 minutes, just an hour and a half, to make a positive change for yourself, your friends or your community.
The film was shot in only 18 days.
Brittany Snow told Complex in an interview that during shooting all off the cast got sick except for Evan Ross. Brittany said that it got so bad that she even had to go to the hospital one night.
"Carley: I hate you. I hate you. I hate you for what you did. I hate you for letting her die. You could have stopped it, and you didn't! I saw you... Look at me!"
