One of Quentin Tarantino's favorite movies from 2013 according to Variety.
Juno Temple appeared in three films at the Sundance Festival in 2013, including this one. She was nude in each one. She told an interviewer she got upset when one critic wrote, "Wow, she's got her tits out in all of them.'" Temple said, "I don't think that's a beneficial thing to say. If you're offended by the nudity, explain to me why."
Juno Temple said filming the poker room scene where she tries to seduce a room full of fathers was both very erotic and very uncomfortable.
The film was originally more sexually explicit when premiered in the 2013 Sundance. Director Jill Soloway was forced to edit out most of the explicit scenes to get a theatrically preferable R-rating. Unfortunately the original premiere version is not available in any home media.
"Jeff: How did the stripper get in the maid's room? Rachel: I put her there."
