TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Big Top Scooby-Doo! was aired on Cartoon Network before its release onto DVD and Blu-ray.

The name of the wolf-loving character Wulfric Von Rydingsvard includes near homonyms of "wolf" and "riding hood," from the popular fairy tale.

This movie inspired the ninth level of the game app Scooby-Doo! Mystery Cases, which is called Circus Scare.

This is the first time since Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King (2008), that the original Scooby-Doo logo wasn't used in the opening title card, although the end credits start with another title card which does feature the original logo (the one used on the DVD).

When Schmatko is talking about his former career in Russian theatre, he lists great Russian playwrights Anton Chekhov, Alexander Pushkin, and Ivan Turgenev. Daphne asks is that including Bulgakov. Schmatko is surprised that Daphne knows of Bulgakov and declares her a "cultured lady". While Mikhail A. Bulgakov is respected in Russia, he is very little known to non-Russian speakers, unlike the other three who have some international appeal. Daphne's education in Russian theatre must be very specialized indeed.

Popular Dialogues

"Marcus Brancusi: [holds garlic up to werewolf] Back! Daphne Blake: That's vampires. Marcus Brancusi: What? Daphne Blake: Garlic. That's for vampires. Marcus Brancusi: Are you sure? Because I really think... Daphne Blake: [werewolf roars and knocks away garlic] Pretty sure."

"Shaggy Rogers: Sweden's just a made-up place, like fairyland or Australia. I bet you think kangaroos are real, too. Fred Jones: Shaggy. Shaggy Rogers: Sweden. Ha ha. Duh. Kangaroos. Marcus Brancusi: Has he been kicked in the head or something? Fred Jones: [glares at Shaggy threateningly] Not yet."
