TRIVIA

Trivia

Final film appearance of Mitzi Green.

The last sizable film role for Marguerite Chapman. Her next and final film role would be a bit part in The Seven Year Itch (1955). In the 1950s, she worked mostly in television.

One of three films Mitzi Gaynor starred in for producer George Jessel at Twentieth Century-Fox in the 1950s.

Early in the film a woman can be seen selling apples in the street. This may be a reference to another Damon Runyon character, Madame La Gimp, who was twice depicted on the big screen as "Apple Annie."

Outside of the title, the film bears almost no resemblance to the Damon Runyon story.
