The locomotive that replaces the streamlined steam locomotive prior to the train arriving in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Railroad #1223, is preserved at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, PA.
Zasu Pitts formed a comedy duo with Thelma Todd. When Pitts left the duo because of salary demands she was replaced by Patsy Kelly. The duo of Todd and Kelly continued until Todd's accidental death in 1935. This film unites Todd's two co-stars.
