While the films young cast had to undergo training sessions for the swimming and rock climbing sequences, Daniel Stern deliberately avoided any exercise, as he felt it would better enhance just how out-of-his-element his character was.
The theatrical trailer for the film uses the soundtrack from Rookie of the Year (1993), which was directed by Daniel Stern.
Final film of Brad Sullivan before his retirement in 2000 and death in 2008.
In order to warm up for the day's shooting, Brad Sullivan would run backward around the ski complex the actors were staying in.

Fishman: Yeah, but how could he call you Spider one time too many if your nick name wasn't already Spider?"
