TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The title of the film is a reference to the line "Game over, man! Game over!" spoken by Bill Paxton's character Private Hudson in Aliens (1986).

Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson were the leads of Workaholics (2011), and whilst it isn't explicitly a 'Workaholics' film, it does share a lot of the cast and crew.

At one point, Anders Holm's character says, "I wanted a Home Alone style zip line." The Dew Crew then continue to reference Kevin McCallister in their "Zip Tie Zip Line" plan later in the scene. Daniel Stern, who plays the boss Mitch in the movie, starred as Marv in Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992).

Adam Devine and Utkarsh Ambudkar worked together in Pitch Perfect (2012); both were part of the Treblemakers.

Anders Holm's character requests Mark-Paul Gosselaar to play his video game character. Gosselaar replaced Holm in Mixed-ish (2019).

Popular Dialogues

"Alexxx: Do you think Tom Brady is in The Brady Bunch? Joel: It's the dad, right? Darren: No. Alexxx: No he isn't."

"Joel: Maybe we should turn ourselves in. Darren: What's with the pockets? Joel: I'm showing them I'm unarmed."
