The film was suppose to be released at the last quarter of 2000, but it was shelved when Destination Films went bankrupt in 2001. Plus the studio no longer had the funds to cover the release. It eventually went straight to video.

During the opening credits of this movie, the song , "I think I love you" is playing , coincidentally, Jerry O'Connell sings the same song to Neve Campbell during Scream 2 , which was released 5 years before.
