This was Kenneth Connor's final film before his death on November 28, 1993 at the age of 75.
The last film in the series to feature "Carry On . . . " regulars Joan Sims, Peter Butterworth, Kenneth Connor and Kenneth Williams, although Williams would make his final "Carry On . . . " contribution in Carry on Laughing's Christmas Classics (1983) four years later.
The film was made in just over a month, one of the fastest filming schedules of any of the "Carry On . . . " films.
There was a rumor during its release that Barbara Windsor had stormed off the set in disgust at the script. In actual fact, she hadn't even been near the set.
