Coach Snoop (2016)'s first season aired in 2016 as webisodes on AOL.com. When Netflix picked the show up for 2018, they opted to essentially "remake" the original season of the docuseries rather than including it on the streaming site. The second season includes longer episodes, deeper interviews and longer looks into the lives of the kids, as well as a stronger focus on 'Kmac' Kelly Garmon over the other SYFL coaches and even Snoop Dogg.
