Many stigma of society are displayed in the movie without thwarting the plot like; Not encouraging Girl Child Education, child-trafficking, child-marriage, blind-following of religion, etc.
In many areas of Rajasthan state, child-marriage happens till date. That is intertwined comically in the movie when Shamsher (9 year old) asks Chhotu to give Pari's hand in marriage with him.
The Hindi name of the Movie is Dhanak which is translated to Rainbow. But Dhanak word is more similar literally to the shiny light that is seen near the moon and the sun.
The style in which Chhotu is seen singing songs - is pure Rajasthani singing style.
