TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The number on the bus David rides after being fired is 5150, which is a police code meaning 'danger to self and/or others.'

Christina Applegate and Jenna Fischer would later star in "Hall Pass" in 2011.

David refers to the bank he works at as North and Wells. Director and writer Mitch Rouse is an alumnus of famed improvisational theatre The Second City which is located at North Ave. and Wells St. in Chicago.

The "founding grandfather" depicted in the giant oil painting in the bank president's office (that David Walsh comments on and, later, urinates on) is Del Close, a beloved Second City theater icon who died in 1999. Close is also thanked in the credits.

Fiona Gubelmann's debut.

Popular Dialogues

"Whisper: [after Jack hires her to sleep with David, but David prefers to just talk with her] Do you want a blowjob or something? David Walsh: No, I'm good. Thanks. Whisper: Do you wanna fuck? David Walsh: You know, that's really sweet, but, uh... I don't think it's a good idea. Whisper: You can jerk off on my tits if you want. David Walsh: You know, as much as I'd love to, I think I'm gonna pass. [stops to open a beer] David Walsh: Whisper, do you have a boyfriend? Whisper: Yeah. David Walsh: What would you do if he was having sex with another girl? Whisper: Play with her tits?"

"Jack: [after hearing David was fired] Tell that fuckstick boss of yours to take tomorrow's work day and shove it up his dick! David Walsh: I don't even know what that means. Jack: He'll know what it means!"
