Mr. Bolt never says what his name is. The twins had remembered his name since everybody at the orphanage said "Thank you, Mr. Bolt".

Although The Purple Guy's real name, Vincent Schiavelli, has never been mentioned in the film, on the cast he is credited as Waldo Fudd.

Erik von Detten and Sam Horrigan worked together again 3 years later in the Disney Channel movie Brink! (1998).
