The term Felony is not actually used in the Australian Police Force.

The incident scene was filmed on Bunnerong Rd Matraville near the site of a real Police accident where a Police car came over the crest at speed, getting airborne, losing control and hit a child killing the child. His incident occurred in the 1990's from memory.
