Ginna Review

The whole first half of the film is dedicated to setting up the concept for a chaotic and unpredictable second half by director Suryaah and his writer Kona Venkat. Naturally, "Ginna" gets off to a slow start as the screenplay gradually introduces its diverse and eccentric characters, who have a strong bond with one another. The story quickens as the second half begins, and the movie's dark humour begins to take shape. The towering Ginna, who has a lovable silliness and simpleton aspect at variance with the typical picture of a larger-than-life southern hero. Sunny Leone is an intriguing choice for the role of a character who is originally from the country, but she is stereotyped as an NRI. Even though it lacks sophistication and logic, it is nonetheless humorous and engaging. Just the right amount of loud and obnoxious humour will have you laughing repeatedly. If that's what the filmmakers were going for, nothing on the screen is scary, but it's definitely funny, whether or not that was their objective.
