Producer, Jon Jacobs, and writer, James Ricardo, met through the IMDb message boards.
Producer Jon Jacobs bought, sight unseen, a single roll of 1958 16mm newsreel featuring Elvis Presley in an eBay auction. It had been lost for over 45 years and he hoped it might contain something unique to be used in the film. He was rewarded with Elvis making a funny remark, a romantic faux pas, that had otherwise been stricken from public record.
Filmed over a two year period, from September 2002 to June 2004.
Cameo appearances and music by many of the world's top DJs and dance artists were featured in the film including: Pete Tong, Ferry Corsten, Carl Cox, Julius O'Riordan, Marcov, Eddie Halliwell, Bob Sinclar, Junior Jack, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Marc Aurel, Kai Tracid, Robbie Riviera, Spankox, Agostino Marangolo, Tina Wiseman, Kevens, Ivano Bellini, and Annabella Lwin.
Final film of Tina Wiseman.
