The film was originally titled "Imaginarium" until the band chose to change the name to prevent mix ups with other media.
The Snowman in many scenes, was not CGI but actually had the voice actor wear the costume.
Each character's costume and personalities are references to children's fairy tale characters. For example, Gem is the White Rabbit and Ann is the Cheshire Cat. In the circus scene, Marco is dressed as Puss in Boots and Ann is Snow White.
