Akshay returns to Khiladi series after 12 years, his last Khiladi film being Khiladi 420 (2000).

This is Akshay Kumar's 8th film with Khiladi in the title after Khiladi, Sabse Bada Khiladi, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Khiladiyon ka Khiladi, Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi, International Khiladi and Khiladi 420.
The climax of the film was shot at Mukesh Mills which was a popular location in 80s and 90s films at one point film-makers had stopped shooting on this location as it was said the place was haunted.
The film was a critical failure but a box office success.
