TRIVIA

Trivia

After performing in the original play in Almeida Theatre, Tim Pigott-Smith and Oliver Chris reprised their roles of King Charles III and Prince William of Wales, respectively, for the small screen.

The dialogue is basically written in blank verse (non-rhyming poetry), reminiscent of Shakespeare's plays.

Richard Goulding has also played Prince Harry in The Windsors (2016)

The movie is based on a play by Mike Bartlett, that toured England following a critically acclaimed run at the Almeida Theatre (London, April 2014) and in the West End. The play was Best New Play at the Olivier Awards and the Critics' Circle Theatre Awards, and received the South Bank Sky Arts Theatre Award.

Prince Harry's story line in the movie mirrors his future real life relationship with Meghan Markle and decision to leave Royal duties.
