TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The bar where the film was shot was still in business, so daily shooting had to finish by 4:00 p.m. when it opened for the evening to the public.

Writer and co-producer Kim Henkel directed the last few scenes as the director Eagle Pennell was having issues with alcohol and drugs and quit showing up for filming.

Filmed in sequence.

Nearly all of the production money came from a $25,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The Southwest Alternate Media Project in Houston provided free office space and film equipment.

Popular Dialogues
