Rotten TomatoesLove, Death & Robots is an Emmy-winning anthology series from Netflix. Renewed for seasons after seasons, the show is unique to its core. From its storytelling to its plot twists, everything is fresh about Love, Death & Robots. The series has some top-quality animation, which adds to the diverse stories that it presents to the audience. The anthology concept enables creators across the board to develop something of their own in this genre that is a combination of near-future dystopia, satire, fantasy, science-fiction, and more. The show is appreciated for its boldness and raw nature, which is usually missing from modern entertainment. One highlight of Love, Death & Robots is the solid voice acting, which allows animated characters to come to life. We really appreciate the kind of plots that have been shown, which ironically make us comfortable enough to embrace the robotic future that awaits us.

The episodes Love, Death & Robots: Beyond the Aquila Rift (2019) and Love, Death & Robots: Zima Blue (2019) are from a book called "Zima Blue and Other Stories" by Alastair Reynolds.
Netflix explained on Twitter they are experimenting with the episode order by presenting four different episode orders to different viewers.
In the episode Love, Death & Robots: The Witness (2019), Director and Art Director Alberto Mielgo drew inspiration for the protagonist from a concept art of Peni Parker from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), in which he was Lead Art Director.
There is a reccuring theme of broken or damaged left arms throughout the series.
The project started off as a theatrical reboot of Heavy Metal (1981).
