In the winter of 1985, snow blankets the town of Hawkins, and the horrors of the Upside Down are finally fading. Our heroes Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max have settled back into a normal life of D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days. But beneath the ice, something terrifying has awakened. It's a new story set in the Stranger Things universe where the original characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorizing their town.

The series is set between the events of Season 2 and Season 3 of the main 'Stranger Things' show.
The animation style is inspired by 1980s Saturday-morning cartoons.
The original cast does not voice their animated counterparts; a new voice cast has been brought in.
The first two episodes will have a limited theatrical screening on April 18, 2026, five days before the Netflix premiere.
