STORY

Story

In 1993, 19 soldiers from the Royal Malay Soldier Regiment (RAMD), the most senior regiment within the Malaysian army, are sent on a dangerous mission to save 70 US Rangers trapped in the Bakara Market in Somalia during the civil war.

The first Malaysian film to be formatted and released in the IMAX (DMR) format.

With an estimated budget of RM20 million (equivalent to almost US$4.4 million in August 2023 exchange rates), this film holds the record for the most expensive Malaysian film in history.

Israel disallowed the film because of Malaysian celebrities use provocative remarks on Jewish state in the country.

UAE and Bahrain also disallowed the film due to the film was banned in Israel and the film was deem to disparaging the Israelis.

Bront Palarae and Hairul Azreen was known for aggressive and "insulting" remarks on Israel over Israeli government oppression against Palestinians in the West Bank.
