Generally considered to be the initial Andy Sidaris and Christian Drew Sidaris "L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies" or "Girls with Guns"-series film despite being the only installment with no major characters or cast members who reappear in future chapters. Continuity is provided in Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987) when the character of Rowdy Abilene, played by Ronn Moss, is said to be the brother of Cody Abilene, played by Darby Hinton in this film.
The protagonist drives an orange Delorean DMC-12 with can be seen entering and exiting the car through the gull-wing doors. The movie was released three months before Back to the Future (1985), the movie in which this car would become one of the most iconic cars of all time.
The roles of the body builder goons were originally given to the Barbarian Brothers. However on the first day of shooting the Barbarian Brothers did not show up. They had forgotten what day the shoot started and were attending choir practice. Sidaris recast them the next day.
Hugh Hefner didn't like the movie because it had girls running and sweating and shooting, and he wanted director Andy Sidaris to add a little romance. Sidaris told him he didn't do a little romance, he made action movies with girls sweating a little bit, and then kicking ass.
When Matthew, Mark and Luke hijack the helicopter pilot, you see a sign on the building behind the helicopter that reads Harry Haus Helicopter service. The pilot they kidnap is in fact Harry Hauss.
