On 4th October 2018 ITV announced that it had commissioned a third, eight episode series of the show to be released in 2019. It was available from Netflix, but not for UK members, finally airing in the UK on ITV in 2021.
The scenes inside the police station which is shown from the outside as being Paddington Green Police Station is actually a BT building across the street from the real police station called Burne House.
