During the first season (2015), a promotional YouTube channel was created with Gerard Piguillem's name, where actors Marcos Franz and Adrian Grösser (as their characters) made a blog about the day-to-day in the new school year with Merli.
Francesc Orella was initially cast in the role played by Pau Durà. When scheduling conflicts made Lluís Homar drop out, he was cast as Merlí.
Marta Marco replaced Clara Segura in the role of Gina Castells.
