IMDbMohabbatein is an all-time classic romantic movie. The storyline is incredibly romantic. The movie shows two completely different views of two stubborn men, the first being Narayan Shankar, who is the principal of Gurukul, and the other being music teacher Raj Narayan, played by the one and only Shah Rukh Khan. Narayan Shankar stands for discipline, and Raj Narayan stands for love. Later on, the movie turns into a rivalry between the thoughts of both. Here Narayan Shankar tells his student that gates of outer world is closed and they have to follow the rules and discipline of the school and there is no room for bending the rules for anyone. Raj Narayan teaches students to love and follow your heart. Vicky, Sameer and Karan broke the cardinal rule of Gurukul and fell in love. It's a must-watch for all the audience  who love romantic movies.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing Megha, was not shown with her face in the trailer prior to the movie release. She being lesser popular back then, many of the audience speculated her as Kajol or Madhuri Dixit who have worked with Shah Rukh Khan under Yash Raj Banner.
Amitabh Bachchan was out of work and with no makers approaching him, he approached Yash Chopra for some work, and was offered a role in the movie.
Karisma Kapoor and Kajol were offered the roles of Ishika and Sanjana, but both of them rejected the offer.
Shah Rukh Khan agreed to do the film without looking at the script first.
'Sridevi' was supposed to be in the film as Amitabh Bachchan's love interest but the role was scrapped.
"Raj Aryan: Love is just like life, its not always easy and it does not always bring happiness. But when we do not stop living, why should we stop loving."
"Sanjana: One should love you, the way you are. Not the way she wants you to be. If someone tries to change you, then it's not love, but a compromise... One doesn't compromise in love, rite?"
