This is the first Muppet series to feature Matt Vogel as the performer of Kermit the Frog (among other characters), after the departure of Steve Whitmire in 2017.
When the trailer was released, the overwhelming majority of the viewing public voiced their disapproval of the drastic change in Kermit's portrayal, after longtime Kermit performer Steve Whitmire was fired and replaced with a sub-par substitute.
