Unlike most other cast members, Sigourney Weaver only appears in archive interviews, even though she had given new interviews for The Beast Within: The Making of 'Alien' (2003), Superior Firepower: The Making of 'Aliens' (2003) and The Making of 'Alien³' (2003), the other making-of documentaries on the Alien Quadrilogy DVD and Bluray boxset. According to director Charles de Lauzirika, Weaver came over during a break in her promotional tour for Holes (2003), but she was only available for three hours to do interviews and an audio commentary recording session for Alien (1979) that she did together with Ridley Scott. In the end, they tried to make the most of the alloted session, but there simply was no time left to interview her about Alien: Resurrection (1997).
This feature-length documentary is featured in the 'Alien Quadrilogy' DVD set and on the 2 disc DVD for Alien: Resurrection (1997).
Included as a multi-part special feature on the Making of the Alien Anthology disc in the Alien Anthology blu-ray box set, released in 2013.
