In the opening credits of each episode, the pose of the characters at the end of the credits change and often relate to the stories within that episode.
In season 2, Agent Clappers mentions the critically acclaimed television show The Wire. Lance Reddick, who plays Agent Clappers, also played Detective Daniels on The Wire. The actor recites three popular phrases he says on the show and then comically refers to his topless scene in 'season 2, episode 12,' where he looks both 'skinny and ripped'.
The shows animation and many voice actors and the voices they use resemble the former Comedy Central show "Brickleberry" which was also created by Roger Black & Waco O'Guin.
Cedric Yarbrough previously played a member of an incompetent police force on Reno 911.
