The particles of poisonous dust that flutter across the moon-forest are practical effects, not CGI. Basement dust was thrown into the air, filmed, and overlaid into the finished movie.
Most of the dialogue was taken from the actual helmets while the actors are speaking and very little was done in terms of ADR.
All of Prospect's exterior shots were filmed in the Hoh Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.
The filmmakers hired an art collective of carpenters, industrial designers, mechanics, and cosplayers to create all the handmade costumes and props for the film.
The script by Zeek Earl and Christopher Caldwell was what drew Pedro Pascal to the film. He liked the eloquent and respectable dialogue for his character. They decided later to tone down how "Shakespearean" it was.
