One day before Sanjeev Kumar died, he dubbed some lines for this film and the day he died was his Mother's death anniversary.
This was Sanjeev Kumar's first posthumous release. He died two month's earlier before this film's release.
Sudesh Bhosle did the dubbing for Sanjeev Kumar in a few scenes.
Sadhana was battling a deadly infection that caused her to go completely blind for a month. At that point R.K. Nayyar wanted to put the film on hold and fly abroad with Sadhana and get her medical treatment. She convinced him not to do that. Sadhana was able to regain her vision after getting Cortizone shots in her eyes.
Sanjeev Kumar's health those days wasn't keeping well he also had a bypass surgery and had gained some weight.
