Rotten TomatoesJab Tak Hai Jaan' was the last movie by the great director Yash Chopra. Like any of Yash Chopra's films, it is full of simplicity and grandeur. It's a great combination of Emotions, Romance, and a bit of comedy too. The storyline was very simple yet incredibly beautiful. Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a treat to watch for all SRK fans. As usual, Shahrukh khan mesmerized the audience with his charm. He proved yet again in this movie that he's the king of romance and no one can beat him at this. Katrina Kaif definitely wasn't that up to the mark in this film. Undoubtedly, Anushka Sharma was way better than Katrina in the film. The music of this film has magic in it. Each and every song is so melodious that you would want to hear it again and again. The dialogues add so much depth and beauty to the film. If you like to watch romantic movie then surely give this one a try.Â

Yash Chopra had intended to film parts of the title song "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" in the Swiss Alps, a favourite shooting location of his. However, after his death the Switzerland shoot was cancelled, as Aditya Chopra did not want to tamper with his father's vision.
The romantic scenes of the film were directed by Yash Chopra's son Aditya Chopra to give the romance a more contemporary feel.
The movie's release coincided with the 50th anniversary of Yash Chopra's career in Bollywood.
Katrina Kaif was often spotted smoking cigarettes with Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of the film, which led to some public controversy.
Chopra completed the film just before he died on October 21, 2012, at the age of 80 as a result of dengue fever.
"Akira Rai: [Last lines] Samar Anand has diffused 107th bombs without a scratch on his body and right now as we speak he is diffusing his 108th bomb. This is not a story of courage, not a story of miracles, it is just a simple story of love. A undying love that a man had for a woman, an unflinching love that a woman had for a man and an unending faith that God had in their love. I got into this story thinking that this would be my big ticket to Discovery Channel, I am going to discover a story of courage, bravery, danger, miracles but i ended up discovering love. Love that breaks you but still keeps you together, love that creates distances still brings you closer, love that is true and forever and i have learnt that if you have the power to love like that, then God makes sure that your love finds it's way, all that you have to do is just hang in there and wait, wait for your time. As we speak right now Samar is diffusing his 108th bomb, his last one, It's his last not because he is suddenly scared of dying, It's his last because now it is his time to live now. His wait is finally over, his time has come, his time to love. This is not a story of courage, not a story of miracles, it is just a simple story of love."
"Samar Anand: Saline mischief in your eyes, Small insolence, Laughing in your smile, Waves of dusk unfurled in your hair, I will not forget you, Not until I cease to breathe, Not until I cease to live... You took your hand away, You turned your shadow face pale, You never glanced this way, You, I will not forgive, Not until I cease to breathe, Not until I cease to live."
