Resident Evil: Damnation is a Japanese animated action horror film that takes place in the universe of the Resident Evil video game franchise. The movie follows Leon S Kennedy, a special agent for the US government, as he is sent to a fictional Eastern European country called "Eastern Slav Republic" to investigate the use of bio-organic weapons in the country's civil war. Leon soon discovers new strains of the T-Virus, alongside corrupt government officials and genetically engineered BOWs that threaten to spread the virus across the globe. The movie features impressive animation, thrilling action scenes, and a suspenseful storyline that keeps the viewers engaged throughout. Moreover, the characters are well-developed and the voice acting is top-notch, with Matthew Mercer's performance as Leon being a particular standout.
