Story

Cut from the film was a scene where Cheech Marin has an acid flashback during which he imagines the three FBI agents to be Bob Hope, Ronald Reagan, and Henry Kissinger.

When Petra (Julie Hagerty) tells Fred (Eric Roberts) about all the things that he's missed while he was gone, one of the things she mentions is the TV show, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Louise Lasser, who plays Ronnie, was in fact the star of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.

In the UK the film was heavily advertised on several commercial radio stations, especially on London's CAPITAL RADIO, yet was not advertised on TV..
