Anuradha Patel and Kiara Advani were cast as mother and daughter in the film. But in her real life they are aunt and niece. Anuradha is the granddaughter of actor Ashok Kumar and Kiara is the great granddaughter of actor Ashok Kumar.
The film was announced as Satyanaryan Ki Katha but fearing religious backlash the makers changed the title to Satyaprem Ki Katha.
It is the second collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani after Bhool Bhulaiya 2(2022)
The song "Pasoori Nu" is a remake of the 2022 Pakistani song Pasoori sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, composed by Ali Sethi, Fazal Abbas and written by Ali Sethi and Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan.
