The revival is treated as the official Season 10, ignoring the events of the original Season 9 which featured a largely new cast.
Filming for the revival took place in Vancouver, Canada, which now stands in for the location of Sacred Heart Hospital.
Bill Lawrence, the creator of the original series, returns as an executive producer for the revival.
The debut of the revival on February 25, 2026, marked the best same-day rating for any network comedy in its regular time period for the season.
