See is a science fiction series that is set in a post-apocalyptic world and revolves around Baba Voss, the leader of a tribe who are all born with the ability to see, and his wife Maghra, who is pregnant with twins who may also have the gift of sight. A virus has wiped out the majority of human population and all the others are left blind. Furthermore, the series has a cast, headlined by Jason Momoa and Sylvia Hoeks, that does a tremendous job in justifying the concept of this sci-fi thriller. The show works because of its beautiful cinematography and unique premise of a world without sight, which give it the much-needed complexity. On top of that, the director has managed to pull off a superb job with exploration of themes such as the importance of community, family, and survival in a harsh and unforgiving world. Overall, See is a must-watch for fans of dystopian and post-apocalyptic stories. There is a reason why it has been renewed for a second season.
