Apurba Kishore Bir's 1997 Indian film Shesha Drushti, which translates to "The Last Vision," explores the disappointment of a dying independence fighter who must bribe a government official to secure a job for his son. The story revolves around Kedar Babu who has been an activist for independence ever since Gandhiji called for the Civil Disobedience Movement. Early on in their marriage, Kedar Babu lost his wife and since then, he has raised his only son Sangram with the utmost fatherly love. The film is beautifully made and explores several emotions like love, family, loss, death, discipline, and more. The actors have done a fine job of portraying their respective characters. the character development as well as the development of the plot is commendable. The storyline is beautiful and is capable of keeping the viewers engaged throughout. The film is capable of inducing several emotions in the audience and is worth watching.
