The original killer was to be played by actor Jed Rowen who left the project to do another movie but would appear as the donut eating cop only to be later cut out of the film. Mighty Mike Murga (a midget) replaced Rowen as the main killer.
B Movie legend Joe Estevez was originally offered the role of the mad doctor.
The budget was $1,000 but $400 worth of props, etc were taken on the 2nd day of filming.
The two detectives were at one time going to be replaced by gay cannibal hillbillies that would run into numerous cast members from Zombiegeddon and Minds of Terror after an actor failed to show for a second day of filming to complete their role. This also forced two seperate endings, different characters living in each.
A Toxic Crusaders towel, Terror Firmer poster and dvd, Citizen Toxie poster are all visible in the film.
