IMDbThe devilishly hilarious horror-comedy Studio 666 breathes new vitality into the genre. The film follows a struggling rock band as they hire a haunted recording facility and confront a ghostly nightmare. The blend of horror and comedy is brilliantly accomplished, with genuine shocks interspersed with amusing moments. The picture embraces its campy nature, with great language, snappy one-liners, and ridiculous scenarios that keep the audience involved and entertained. The cast delivers captivating performances, completely embracing their roles as both musicians and horror movie characters. The band members' chemistry is evident, and their interactions give comedic relief despite the pandemonium. The film pays respect to old horror cliches while introducing new twists and surprises. The haunted studio serves as an unsettling backdrop, with clever use of sound design and well-executed images to create a terrifying environment. Studio 666 doesn't take itself seriously, revelling in its own silliness and providing a lighthearted cinematic experience.
