TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Bally Sagoo had a remix version of "Jugni" by Malkiet Singh in the album Star Crazy in 1991.

Chitrangada Singh was offered the lead role but turned it down, citing scheduling conflicts.

Aanand L. Rai first showed the script to Jimmy Shergill long before the movie was made. At that time he was in talks with producers who wanted other male actors for commercial benefit. But being a good friend, Aanand Rai offered Raja Awasti's role to Jimmy.

'Madhavan' was also one of the stars of the highly-acclaimed film 3 Idiots (2009). He used to miss that team and every night after the shoot they used to call each other.

This film has a sequel named "Tanu weds Manu Returns" released in 2015.

Popular Dialogues

"Tanuja 'Tanu' R. Trivedi: Sharmaji, you are not what you appear to be! Manoj 'Manu' K. Sharma: Strange... in the whole world only you have understood me."
