Amy Loughren is now living in DeLand, Florida, with her two daughters where she pursues a life of spirituality in the aftermath of the murder case. In addition to being a registered nurse, she is both a practicing Reiki Master and a hypnotherapist.
The production accords a post credit "Special Thanks" to nurse Amy Loughren, her daughters Alexandria Loughren and Maya Porter, and detectives Danny Baldwin and Tim Braun who helped solve the crime.
When Amy walks in to meet with detectives Baldwin and Braun in Linda Garran's office, there is a framed college degree hanging on the wall from Cedar Crest College. This is an actual college located in Allentown, PA where many of the murders were committed.
The movie based on Charles Graeber's investigative book with the same title, following the story of a nurse who was classified as a serial killer. Charles spent 7 years to finish his book.
